Samir

History:  Picked up as a stowaway he had spent his childhood days living in a small coastal town being raised by the village more then his parents the same as the rest of the villages children.  He just didn't get along with them the best that and most days he could be found wandering down on the shore looking out to sea to see if he could catch a glimpse of a distant sail and dream about being out on the waves.  Despite being strength class while he was growing up he remained quite skinny and lean many attributed it to his element when he learned what it was.  

But before he could undergo the ceremony that would embed the gems in his flesh a Striker Clan ship came and practically begged the village for provisions since they had been battered about by a storm and lost many supplies and crew members that even though it was a small village they wouldn't have had the resources to attack it.  Despite many being against it the village helped and when the ship was sent on its way Samir went with them.  Without his village knowing.  Whoops.

Despite being made fun of the crew kept him since his element would come in handy and so he was branded a member of Striker clan and resided on the ship rising through the ranks using his slowly developing strength to become invaluable at hauling and lifting heavy things, working together with the other air elements to help the ship sail faster or keep it safe in storms.

He lost his leg and eye battling the Onyx and was left to his own devices after a good portion of the crew was lost and he was crippled.  Ghost had heard about him and watched him for a few days before springing on him inviting him to join her -then- nonexistent crew.  Nowadays he spends his time alternating between yelling at the crew and yelling at Ghost in between reminiscing about his younger, less crippled days.
