Personality: In a constant state of tired/cranky but to laid-back to actually do anything about it.  Cracks jokes in class and can be randomly fanatic about what he's lecturing about.  He's a happy drunk and that's really the only time his more happy/childish side comes out, and has been known to randomly sing karaoke and dance while inebriated.

Brief History: Had a normal childhood but always felt it was boring and especially in college attempted to "find himself" and never really succeeded at least not how he wanted it, he got involved with alcohol and some drugs.  A few busted parties, a suspension, and some stern words of disappointment later he shaped up and took his schooling more seriously going back and earning his Associates degree in Applied Science focusing on electronics and IT, till he was working a convention about various topics such as bio-engineering and alternative energy sources.  Between fixing various tech problems, setting up rooms, and chatting with people he did some research and decided to go back to school and eventually graduated with his Masters in Biology Education focusing on cell biology and biochemistry, and after doing some work with various companies he came back and started teaching.

Other: Roan has been teaching for 12 years.  His favorite alcoholic drink is gin and tonic, but will probably drink anything you put in front of him though usually only really has a few drinks on any given night so its rare that he gets really drunk.  His parents are both still alive but he really hasn't stayed in contact with them or any of his family for that matter, not that he hates them or even dislikes he just doesn't talk to them.  He really hasn't been looking for a partner, his decisions from his past haunt him though he'll never say it out loud it just makes it harder for him to let people in so that he doesn't have to worry about disappointing them.
